When I started this, $40,000 was so far away, decisions like figuring out what color the suede would be didn’t even cross my mind. But you all decided to show your support for this thing, and push it way higher than any of my expectations! 

I’ve got a great solution though. Everyone receiving a Pro Healer’s Kit will use the  survey to select one color from a list of options. Whatever the community decides is their favorite gets to be the extra suede color.

Also, expect to receive the survey in two weeks :) .

$30,000 Stretch Goal Reached AND Some Big Announcements!

Announcement #1 - $30,000 Stretch Goal Prototype

I've updated the page to show what the $30,000 stretch goal prototype looks like. The foil looks amazing on the dark Red Mahogany finish. I'm really excited for this one as it's so striking to see the contrasts. I am however, not an artist, and so this prototype was made so you can see how beautiful the stain color is and the contrast of the foil. I'm sure any artistically inclined person can do far better than my mishmash of premade shapes though, so speaking of artists... 

Announcement #2 - Artist paid early, starting work now! 

I've already started having an artist work on the finalized art. I spent a good hour collaborating with him today and I'm stoked to see how much more can be done with his artistic talent. 

 Announcement #3 - Backerkit Partnership

I'm partnering with Backerkit to help keep things clear for all you wonderful backers. I've used them before as a backer and really enjoyed the flexibility they provided. I'll also be setting up a pre-order shop for after the campaign, but that will not have the same prices and items available. Mostly, I'm happy that they will allow me to get final art designs to show you before you guys commit to a finish permanently. It will still help to know what versions you want up front, but it will be wonderful to offer everybody a chance to switch between the finishes after they see the final artwork for each. 

 Announcement #4 - Free Coins for Pro Kits 

Pro kits during the campaign will get in addition to everything mentioned already, some hand painted acrylic coins. The coins fit in the bottles and are meant to represent the +2,4,8, and 20 hp points regained in each corresponding potion. They come as part of the kickstarter rewards for free, but if you wait until after they will be moderately priced add-ons. They are great for when you need to pass the potion to another player and makes it so they don't have to read your rolling surface in order to easily add it all up. 

Announcement #5 - Laser engraver on the way!

One of the larger tools I need for the project, a full size laser cutter, will be arriving at my home a day after the kickstarter ends. I was able to find one stateside so it is arriving really quickly. What this means for you is that I get to start getting familiar with it and dialing in the settings even sooner before I have to go into mass production mode. I'm really glad also because I don't want to slow down my momentum on this and I'm excited that I'll be able to continue to provide updates soon after the kickstarter ends with prototypes of the artists drafts.

Lastly, I wanted to thank each and every one of you backers. You're making this awesome with every pledge and every mention to your friends, family and on social media. My goal is to keep creating awesome things for tabletop RPG's and every pledge helps me along that way. The more people we can get on board, the sooner I'll be able to create more excellent products for you. Let's keep pushing and go for that final stretch goal of $40,000!

Updated Vial Designs, now with 100% more cork

I've always wanted the look of corks with these, but had to just get the designs out there and prove that people wanted what I was making, even if it wasn't 100% what I wanted yet. Well, with the overwhelming support and interest, and a few comments I've seen here and there, I decided to revisit the possibility of using corks for the bottles. I've been working on these new prototype upgrades since we cleared the $20k stretch goal, and I am very pleased with the result. Along with that I've updated the foam packing design to include a spot for the dice tower. 

 I'll be redoing photos for all the rest as soon as possible, but I am excited to show you these improved versions of the kits.

WE DID IT!

Wow! That happened fast! Thank you all for your wonderful support. You've unlocked two stretch goals at $17,500 and now $20,000 and I'm going to take this moment to show you what's next for stretch goals.

The next goal will be $30,000 and will unlock a new design that makes use of the golden foil look. Due to how the material works and how it's different from just lasering on the wood, I need to have a different version of the design that will work with it. This is an example of a test swatch using the darker stain called Red Mahogany with the golden foil being used to make the art appear golden

Every backer now gets to choose the color of the keychain tags. You will be asked at in the backer survey which color(s) you want. 

Colors in picture in clockwise order starting from the top: Blue, Black, Silver, Purple, Green, and Red.
